Mowalola & Avalon Lurks: Presented by LickNDip X Elevate Angel X NoStrings_NYC

What happens when Lickndip X ELEVATE ANGEL X NOSTRINGS_NYC have a threesome???

When Lickndip, Elevate Angel, and Nostrings_nyc throw a party together, you know it’s gonna be lit AF. Friday night was no exception, with London’s fashion prodigy Mowalola and LA’s own DJ powerhouse Avalon Lurks headlining. The moment that lineup dropped, every hypebeast in the city was scrambling for the addy.

Pre-game was intense. Your girl was drowning in glitter, squeezing into a black satin corset tighter than Ye’s latest Yeezy drop, and strapping on some sick angel wings. It was giving fallen angel meets runway model, no cap.

The scene? Straight fire. We’re talking a mashup of high fashion and street cred that would make even A$AP Rocky do a double-take. Mowalola‘s latest collection was in full effect, rubbing shoulders with vintage D&G. Enfants Riches Déprimés brought that high-end punk vibe, while Vetements kept it oversized and over-the-top. Balenciaga structures and Diesel’s Y2K comeback were everywhere, mixed with DIY fits that screamed Gaultier energy. And you couldn’t miss the Lickndip merch and Elevate Angel‘s 222 brand repping hard.

The venue was next level. Outside, everyone was tagging up the event poster like it was the last piece of street art in existence. Inside? Bruh, they had a tattoo artist inking people right by the dance floor. Talk about commitment to the culture.

When Avalon Lurks hit the decks, it was game over. Homegirl showed up in archive Dolce & Gabbana and stilettos sharper than a butcher’s knife and shades darker than The Weeknd’s soul. Every track she dropped was a banger, and she was chain-smoking like it was going out of style (spoiler: in this crowd, it never will).

Some artsy type was painting Avalon Lurks live on the side of the stage, but halfway through, they switched to Mowalola. That’s when we knew shit was about to pop off another level.

Mowalola rolled in like a blue-tinted goddess. Her fit? A sheer minidress with “MOWA” plastered across the chest, black thong on full display, carrying a red purse from her own line. It was a look so bold, even Rihanna would’ve asked for styling tips.

Finally, Mowalola joined Avalon Lurks on stage, and the duo was serving pure Bratz doll realness, straight out of Mowalola’s collab with the iconic toy brand. They effortlessly worked the decks, amping up the crowd with every beat, their larger-than-life personas bringing that plastic-fantastic energy to life.

Around 4 AM. Lights up. Raid. Even as everyone scattered, the energy was clear – this one’s going down as that night.

Bottom line: If Lickndip, Elevate Angel, or Nostrings_nyc announce a function, you drop everything. Ghost your group chat, raid your closet for your most flex-worthy fit, and get ready to turn up. These are the kind of nights that end up in fashion textbooks and DJ documentaries.

Beyond the Insta-bait parties, these functions are different – pure culture, no fake flex. Not just NARCISSIST APPROVED, it’s a vibe most can’t touch.
