I was recommended to go to a place in West Hollywood called The Woods, a dispensary and lounge founded by actor Woody Harrelson and ERBA co-founders Devon Wheeler and Jay Handal. Before coming to the lounge, we had our IDs prepared to get checked in order to get in. They give you a slip deli-style and you wait until your number gets called. The menu had a lot of options from tree, pre-rolls, some infused and even straws where you leave in your drink and you get high off the straw, which is surprisingly fun. My friend ordered pre-rolls for us to share, while I decided to order Uncle Ben’s lemonade tea. We were escorted by the budtenders, which were super kind and accommodating when it comes to any price range.

The lounge area features a bar where customers can place orders. To access the lounge, you must purchase products from The Woods – bringing your own stash from home is not allowed. I was relieved to learn that we could order directly from the bar, which gave us wristbands granting access to stay in the lounge. This setup ensures that all guests are consuming products from The Woods while enjoying the space.
I got Uncle Ben’s lemonade which was 10 mg and my friend got Pabst Blue Ribbon guava seltzer 15mg. We sat at a lounge called the Ganja Giggle Garden, which was very earthy with inspirations of Buddhism. Outside, there was a seating area with plants to smoke at, a pond filled with koi fish, and a statue stream with a parrot sanctuary.

Editor’s tip: (Beginner friendly drink)

Editor’s note: This drink is delicious but it’s no joke – definitely for hardcore stoners. My friend got STONED AF, but in a good way. She ended up chatting with the parrots after downing this thing.
OPINION:
Two tree houses across both sides of the lounge called the Cabana are more private rooms where you’re able to make reservations for $150 per 90 minutes with benefits of seeing the pond, hotboxing the room, and having control of the room’s TV. My friend and I decided to observe our surroundings, which were filled with people, mainly tourists this summer season relaxing in the public lounge smoking with their summer attire.

Although we didn’t see many eye-catching looks at the place, we were able to strike up conversations with other guests. The place itself is like a bar; the purpose for the customers is to socialize, which is amazing from the perspective of somebody who isn’t from California and wants to get to know more people and network. While we were looking at the parrots, a guy came up to us, started complimenting our outfits, and began talking about how he would make Brazilian-inspired beatboxing for the birds, which made them start dancing. He showed us a video of him doing it, and we tried it with the birds; some of them had a reaction. Many people are very approachable, and at times you would be surprised by these customers’ occupations. While we were there, we met a guy who makes customized metal clothing racks for clothing stores.
The Woods offers a unique, Zen-inspired escape in West Hollywood. This dispensary-lounge hybrid provides a tranquil environment where guests can relax, socialize, and indulge in a variety of cannabis products. The tropical-themed decor, complete with lush plants and even parrots, creates an immersive atmosphere that transports visitors to a serene oasis.

100% STONER APPROVED

Friendly budtenders assist with selecting from an array of weed options, while the bar serves munchies and drinks to satisfy post-smoke cravings. Entertainment options keep the experience engaging for hours on end.
For those 21 and up seeking a distinctive dispensary experience that combines relaxation and socialization, The Woods is a must-visit destination in West Hollywood. It’s an ideal spot for cannabis enthusiasts to enjoy a laid-back, yet vibrant atmosphere.
