Narcissist Magazine had the pleasure of meeting with the founder and lead designer of Melting Sadness at ComplexCon, where they unveiled an exciting collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon, the founder of the iconic American vintage streetwear brand, Round Two. This collaboration led to the creation of a unique pop-up experience that showcased a creative reinterpretation of the Adidas Originals classic shoe model, the SUPERSTAR. Alongside the revamped SUPERSTARS, the pop-up also featured a range of other remade clothing items, blending Melting Sadness’s distinctive aesthetic with Wotherspoon’s vintage streetwear flair. This partnership not only highlighted the synergy between the two brands but also offered a fresh perspective on classic designs, captivating the attendees with their innovative and sustainable approach to fashion.
